INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
Industrial design is a creation concerning the form, configuration, or composition of lines or colors, or both lines and colors, or a combination thereof, shaped in three dimensions or two dimensions that convey an aesthetic impression and can be embodied in a three-dimensional or two-dimensional pattern. It can be used to produce a product, goods, industrial commodities, or handicrafts.
Industrial Design Protection Period
The protection period for industrial design is 10 years from the date of acceptance. The holder of the industrial design right has exclusive rights to exercise the granted rights and to prohibit others, without their consent, from making, using, selling, importing, exporting, and/or distributing related products.
